Buying iPhone from US without contract???

Hey guys is it possible to get an iPhone from US without the contract?? I heard that most of the Phones sold there are locked and with yearly contract.

Is it possible to buy it there and use it in my country. Here its very much over priced.

Ye but the major drawback there is about getting cheated by receiving some fake or Chinese phone. That was my main concern.

But if you buy from the US, you need to pay shipping fee and customs duties in your country.
The overall amount might be similar to the local price of Iphone in your country.

But if you have any relatives in the US, you can buy their old one.

It is possible if you have a relative their in the US.
Once they return to your country, they will bring and give the iPhone to you.

Hmm thats a god idea! And does it work vice versa too. I mean if I happen to go there am I allowed to purchase it there and bring it back to my country??

Of course you can bring it to your country.
But I think you go for a second hand one so that there's no existing contract and yo can easily jailbreak it.

Not a bad idea though. In that case will get it still more cheaper but again at the same time the durability of the product would be less.

But anyways not totally worthless. Will try to speak with my friends and relatives out there.
