It understand the the software has some problems and microsoft is working on a new and improved version but still I dont understand why there is so much hatred against it and people claiming to avoid all products manufactured by the company?

Well, I have the option to free upgrade to vista on that new Emachine I bought, but heck, I am not even a pro at XP yet. I wish Microsoft would slow down on the Windows and do some improvements elsewhere.

I personally don't like vista because there is some software that is not compatible with it. And because every machine I have tried it on it's incredibly slow. :-/
Though, I think if they fix the speed and the software issues, it may be a good OS. |

It seems like microsoft and apple's competition is almost hurting them both - if anything it is helping apple. seems to always have the problematic OS, then the OS sent from the heavens, just to disappoint again....
I am very close to switching to apple.... |
