Default Why So Many Against Vista

It understand the the software has some problems and microsoft is working on a new and improved version but still I dont understand why there is so much hatred against it and people claiming to avoid all products manufactured by the company?

Well, I have the option to free upgrade to vista on that new Emachine I bought, but heck, I am not even a pro at XP yet. I wish Microsoft would slow down on the Windows and do some improvements elsewhere.

Any software that requires that you to upgrade your computer to meet the high resources it takes to run it is a downer to many.

I think most people are just not used to it and a lot of old software don't support vista.

Only stuff i found out i cant run so far is Commmand and conquer tiberium wars. (craches while playing)

I personally don't like vista because there is some software that is not compatible with it. And because every machine I have tried it on it's incredibly slow. :-/

Though, I think if they fix the speed and the software issues, it may be a good OS.

It seems like microsoft and apple's competition is almost hurting them both - if anything it is helping apple. seems to always have the problematic OS, then the OS sent from the heavens, just to disappoint again....

I am very close to switching to apple....

I'm not 100% against Vista, I am Vista user. The only thing I dont like about it is because it hogged the memory too much. Compared to XP.
