Contests are the good means to improve the motivation of members, further it will also attract new members.
so if you are planning to start a contest, then do it without hesitation.

I've already posted this, in another thread but ill suggest it here anyway.
As earlier suggested, add the Point system we also had on GzP, then add contest's and see who has the highest points at every end of the month, and award them the specific prize you had in mind.

Ofcourse rules will be made up, so people don't spam.

For the contest to work out really well, we'd need the Support of every member that's on this site, to make the contest more fun and exciting. If we were to start a contest, and only 20 people were to join, they'd only be a handful of people who could win.

Whereas, on the other hand, if we had 50-60 Members participating in this Contest, where you'd see people getting eliminated, and the people who are still 'in' the game getting smaller by each round. The game wouldn't work out if we only had 20 people.
