Sorry, but I didn't really get the message of the story here. Why would the girl laugh at the boy's question? I see nothing funny in that kind of question. And can't she simply talk and then laugh later? Or laugh and then talk later? Gosh!

Well this is a joke and you should take in that way only ... and if you are trying to get the meaning of jokes than you wont get anything and will miss a reason to smile as well.
