your mother or your wife?

You were shipwrecked together with your mother and wife in the middle of the ocean in a raging storm. You managed to get only one lifejacket. Since you are an average swimmer, you can do without it and have to give it to any one of them. And because you can only save yourself, the one who does not get the lifejacket will certainly drown to death. Who are you going to give the lifejacket: to your mother, or to your wife? Why?

My mother, simply for the fact that she was what eventually brought me there.
And ofcourse id probably help my wife keep a float.

Why should I will choose one ... both are an important part of my life and both add different colours to my journey. If there will be any problem than I solve that.

Mother is more important rather than wife because she was the one who cares a lot about you when you was born in this world, wife we can find again but mother definitly just one and only that we have, so the most important mother or wife it must be mother:")

silly thing how can you ask that in which of these two eyes u like the most.both the eyes are important for vision to look at the whole world.so how can u ask to poke a eye...

Lol! The story didn't make you choose which eye you should poke and which you shouldn't. You are made to choose between your MOTHER and your WIFE, not which of YOUR EYES. That's a totally different story. Wrong use of metaphor.
