This is a movie based on a 80% true story 35 years ago. It's too scary to be true to me. But I can't believe it was confirmed 80% true! If you watched it, what did you think of the movie?

It was scary to the core when I first watched it. I was 14 then but still got very scared.

The girl looked so natural and I remember I kept on getting nightmares about her scene when she climbs down the stairs on her hands and feet.

Don't know if the story was indeed 80% true. If this is true what was added? I mean what 20% was fictitious?

I'm not sure, but I just saw a review of it on TV and they said it was confirmed 80% and not really sure with the 20%. So it's bound to be true. I wonder if the girl was a demon or spirit or something. She was really scary.

Three thumbs up for the movie!

The Exorcist is one of the movie classics in my books. I've seen the movie three times, read the book five times. The story gives you a peek at the Vatican's guidelines and policies regarding miracles and so-called demon possession.

It's a scientific story, really.

Which part is scientific? Do demons really exist? Was a real girl really haunted by a demon as it is shown in the movie?Please tell me about the book, where can I buy it? I am just so curious..
