I like iphone because it has a lot of apps/games to download.

I've never really been interested in blackberries.
The iPhone caught my eye, though.
The thing that put me off the iPhone was it's value for money.
The iPhone is a pretty expensive phone and at it's first release, lacked common features such as a video camera and full bluetooth.
A two mega-pixel camera let the phone down also, for the money you would of expected at least a 5 mega-pixel camera.
Apple have improved the phone though and the applications available are brilliant!
The standard theme on the phone is horrible but you are able to change it through jailbreaking, which I wouldn't be very happy with my iPod touch without. Jailbreaking added some nice extra functionallity to my iPod and you should try it if you already haven't jailbroken!
The iPhone gets my vote.

Well, the 3GS has a video camera. But apple have gone into this whole anti-piracy phase where they don't want to add full bluetooth because people would share pirated music and videos etc.

So you base your decisions on quantity over quality?

I don't know about you, but when I want to see if something is better, I don't tally votes (well, sometimes I might, but read ahead). I find out why people choose one thing over another and take that into account - thus my opinion will be more personalized and based on fact, rather than numbers; it helps greatly because you don't always agree with public opinion.

Difficult one to answer!! I would like to have both together. Iphone is great in terms of casual looks, touchscreen and applications where as blackberry seems more of a Business phone packed with all necessities right from the document viewer, pdf reader to internet, WLAN WIFI ect.

I recently bought a HTC Desire and I am very impressed with it. I was looking at blackberries but in a similar price range, it just wasn't up to scratch with the HTC Desire.
