What chat program do you use? I use XFire.

I only use MSN because I am used to it and most of my friends are using that.

They added a feature so you can use msn and aim on xfire, so i have no need for the other too. But I still really only use the xfire part of xfire lol.

Well, xFire let's you use most of the other ones in it. So you can talk to your msn friends, aim friends, not sure what else. I want them to add irc, irc in game lol.

Gtalk and YIM thats it. It serves most of my purpose.

BTW @JAMMERX2 any specific reason that you hate YIM for?? YIM actually is very interactive as compare to others in terms of Smile video chat ect. Its just now Gtalk has added some of the features to it but YIM had the features since ages.

I only use Skype and Gtalk, i had ICQ but it just didn't like it. Think the popularity mainly depends on the region.

Oh forgot to add skype to my list. Thanks to Stankus for reminding me that :) But now gtalk almost does everything right from chat, call and even video calls too. I just love it.

Even I used YIM for a long long time until Gtalk came with voice chat and video chat. Now its all Gtalk all the time. But I do have YIM installed on my system too.

I chose Others since I use Yahoo Messenger.
It can add persons using Yahoo, MSN and Hotmail accounts.
Plus, I have it for more than four years already.

That is one of the great feature YIM has adapted. It allows cross IM chatting with MSN and Hotmail users.

Dont know if the started that as a new feature or it was a part of the Yahoo MSN deal but finally what is important is that the users benefit and enjoy :)
